Addition of seasoned government and advocacy experts boost Actum’s public affairs capabilities in the United States, following addition of Lord McNicol and Lord Vaizey as Advisory Board Members in the United Kingdom

Los Angeles, CA (January 12, 2023)— Actum LLC, a global consulting firm, today announced the addition of renowned government and advocacy experts, Vahe Yacoubian and Nathalie Rayes, to the Actum National Advisory Board. Yacoubian and Rayes bring with them over 50 years of combined experience, offering top level expertise to Actum’s diverse leadership team and expansive client base.

“It is our privilege to welcome Nathalie and Vahe to Actum as Advisory Board Members,” said Actum Co-Founder and Managing Partner Fabian Nunez. “The caliber and diversity of their experience and expertise will add tremendous value to our clients and make them a powerhouse addition to our growing family.”

Rayes has devoted her career to the empowerment of the Latino community through advocacy. She is the President and CEO of Latino Victory Project and has previously served as Vice President of Public Affairs for Grupo Salinas, Executive Director of Fundación Azteca America, and Deputy Chief of Staff for Los Angeles Mayor James K .Hahn. Her substantial impact has been widely recognized through numerous awards, nominations, and honors, including a presidential appointment to the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars.

“I am thrilled to join the best-in-class, diverse team at Actum and to contribute to the company’s development as one of the fastest growing public affairs firms in the country,” said Rayes. “I have been impressed by the high caliber of talent Actum has attracted and feel a strong connection to the team’s commitment to create a positive impact in every aspect of their work.”

Yacoubian is an Attorney at Law, with myriad experience advising and representing governments in commercial transactions and international arbitrations with domestic and foreign investors, including the representation of businesses in government related matters and international transitions. Yacoubian, who has been Of Council with Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP since 1995, specializes in matters related to telecommunications, aviation, and energy, bringing with him a unique set of skills that will be an invaluable asset for Actum’s clients.

“The team at Actum is amongst the best I have seen and I am looking forward to working alongside the incredible leadership, whose commitment to impact and advocacy is unparalleled,” said Yacoubian. “I am excited to bring my unique experience and expertise to enhance the firm’s already meaningful work and deliver broadly positive outcomes despite the challenges around the world, turning crisis into progress.”

The addition of Rayes and Yacoubian as Advisory Board Members comes on the heels of the addition of Lord McNicol and Lord Vaizey to the Board last month. Actum’s office in the United Kingdom announced the addition of the Lords in a press release in December.

“We are building a firm that brings together the best, most strategic minds – often from opposite ends of the political spectrum – to offer our clients an unmatched capability to drive measurable business outcomes,” said Kirill Goncharenko, Actum Co-Founder and Managing Partner. “The additions of these passionate and distinct leaders as advisors demonstrates Actum’s commitment to excellence, and we feel fortunate to have them on our team.”
